do have problem, too? here's solution.

version in synaptic not latest treeline version 1.2.4, contains work-around bug in pyqt 4.6's clipboard support prevent treeline starting. 1.2.4. fixes unrequested horizontal scrolling left in tree view when selection changed.[1]

fix issue, uninstall treeline synaptic , install 1.2.4. deb package http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/a...eline/download

system complain older , better supported version available in synaptic. ignore prompt , install anyway.
