with 1.5 beta 2, turn on sef , mod_rewrite options. on frontpage, links work ok. example, 1 article link has url:
http://www.joomlajumpstart.com/home/46-differences-module-components
however, when create section blog layout, link same article this:
http://www.joomlajumpstart.com/joomla-articles/46-differences-module-components
the second link causes 404 error when clicked on. next, create menu item standard category layout , link same article this:
http://www.joomlajumpstart.com/index.php?itemid=52&option=com_content
clicking on link doesn't cause 404 error, re-displays category article list. went nightly build , checked router.php seems file handles link routing , has current $id:
$id: router.php 7542 2007-05-29 21:08:43z jinx $
this file newer 1 in beta 2 installation, copied in, no change in behavior. has problem been resolved in nightly builds? if so, file corrects it?
