Thread: Totem Movie Player crashes during night

hello,

upgraded ubuntu 9.04 9.10 on wife's pc. puts on movie before going bed , leaves on while fells asleep. before upgrade totem worked after upgrade movie player has crashed during every night has been on , won't shut down unless pc rebooted , totem force quit while @ it. doesn't recover full screen.

why happening , different in 9.10 brings out problem?

can fix issue?

you can 'try' reinstalling libdvdcss2 medibuntu repo , see if 'ubuntu-restricted-extras' meta-package updated properly. see, i'm leery of doing dist-upgrades because goes right. copy data off external , perform clean install if need new functionality latest version provides...
