Thread: Force Rhythmbox to use SPDIF

upgrade karmic , don't sound when playing mp3s in rhythmbox. pc (asrock ion 330) connected receiver via spdif (optical). have removed pulsa audio , using alsa. in alsamixer channels unmuted , set max volume. , sound works great in xbmc , amarok. won't use amarok doesn't not recognise shortcuts on keyboard (logitech dinovo edge).

does know how force rhythmbox use spdif output or know music player can use spdif output , recognise shortcuts on keyboard?
prefer using rhythmbox.
