Harvesting serial data and displaying to an LCD module.

hi everyone!
first of all, please tell me if i'm on wrong thread since don't know ask. in advance.

i ask guidance , on project. wanted harvest data digital blood pressure , display on seriaan lcd using arduino, prints results on paper using thermal printer.

my problem is, don't know start program in getting value blood pressure monitor. have determine clock , data pin of device.

would possible provide model number of monitor device or kind of interface uses ?

regarding lcd display portion, have got code figured out ?
are able display information on lcd ?

also, possible provide arduino board or atmega device using ?
