Thread: Cannot connect to internet (wireless)

i have aspire 5735-4774 laptop ubuntu 9.04 installed on it. , have been able connect internet until last night. , have no clue why.

have enabled networking , wireless, , laptop recognize networks, won't connect (even though until last night connected no problem). secured network, have password, that's not problem either.

here did:

went troubleshooting part of 'ubuntu help' (for wireless - section 5.2) , first step check device on.

typed in terminal

sudo lshw -c network

said see output, along words "claimed,unclaimed, enabled or disabled".

so apparently, wireless device off (because said 'disabled' on output). says in may need turn on switch or something, there nothing physical on laptop need switch on wireless.


should do? why internet stop working that?

need someone's please. thank you.
