Poor Performing Site.. Large Query Done by Joomla - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

guys, developed site couple of addons
it performing poorly soo many queries executed when page displayed, on front page. 

i turned on caching on global config, set 1 minute. turned on caching on database level
the site built using joomla 1.0.11

addons used:

components
-alphacontent
-mycheckin
-jce
-mycontent
-rd_rss

modules
-alphacontent_section_with_image
-contentitem
-display news
-googleadsensesearch
-relateditems_xtd
-websitevalidatorstool

mambots
-simple image gallery
-jce

from debugging site, shows has executed 319 queries
(pm me debug list , site's address)

i noticed simple image gallery has taken many query activities (about 100)... and, planned switch , rather use gallery components after this.

besides optimatizations i've done, else can tune-in speed of website?

did remember turn on chache in modules well?
